About Galvanized Education Partners

Galvanized Education Partners’ mission is to support school/system leaders to design and lead high-quality schools where ALL students achieve their highest academic potential and experience a deep sense of belonging within the school community.  Founded by an eductor with over 2 decades of experience in K-12 education (as a teacher, Principal, Principal Manager, Chief Academic Officer, and Associate Dean leading school leader training programs), Galvanized ED strives to provide school and system leaders with the skills, tools, and practices to lead high-impact schools designed to meet the needs of ALL students.

Our work is grounded in a set of three core beliefs:

  • Core Belief 1: Education has the power to serve as a liberatory force for individuals and communities. A great education has the power to transform lives, shift family and community trajectories, and empower students with the skills, knowledge, and mindsets to determine their destiny and pursue their passions. Ensuring that ALL students have access to a high-quality education is therefore essential to creating a society that is more just, equitable, and free.

  • Core Belief 2: All students have the potential for academic success with the right level of support (social, emotional, and academic) and access to high-quality learning experiences. For the past two decades, many Colorado schools have led the charge in demonstrating that students’ academic potential is not defined by their race, income level, or zip code. We have proof points of what can be achieved when students, families, teachers, and leaders come together to build communities of care and academic success.

  • Core Belief 3: Education is deeply human work.  For students to learn and achieve at their full potential, we must create schools where all members of the community (students, teachers, families, etc) feel seen, valued, and cared for.  It requires forging a “beloved community” (in the words of Dr. King) grounded in empathy, trust, humility, and mutual respect. It’s about caring for one another while never losing sight of our goals (and the high stakes of those goals for our students and their families who’ve entrusted us with a sacred obligation).

Guided by these beliefs, Galvanized ED has provided training, coaching, and mentorship to hundreds of school and school-system leaders in the areas of: Equity-Centered School Leadership, Positive School Culture, High-Quality Instruction and Academic Programming, Data-Informed Instruction, Strategic Planning, Effective Teacher Development, and Professional Learning.
